A Peek @ Food We Eat & Things We Do!
What you're seeing here is my obsession with veganism. Vegan is my vice. It's something that takes my attention, focus, energy, and money. Add to that my concern for the environment and what the world will be like for our children if we continue on this path. I've been happily married for 17 years, a proud parent and stay@home mom of 2 girls, and our family is rounded out by one good dog. After being vegetarian for 17 years, through blogging I've discovered the world of vegan cooking and enjoying the challenge of becoming vegan. I'm a teacher, homemaker, friend who likes exercise, nature, and all things creative. We are degrading the Earth with our massive consumption and throw-away mentality and jeopardizing the quality for all life on Earth. Together we can make a difference - and it can be as simple as changing what we eat! Peace.

I'll be curious to see peeps' opinions of this. I really need to see Gore's movie soon. I don't watch TV so i won't see this show...
Vicki, Peter and I (w/Heidi and Mattie outside tied up on their leashes to my car) went to SIPZ tonight and tried the sushi. So good. I took a photo and then accidentally deleted it. D'oh! I ordered the sweet 'n' sour chicken in honour of you and Art. I LOVED IT! I told Sylvia (the owner) how much my friends from Idaho enjoyed the food... she really appreciated that... And of course I thought of you two when I was eating that great meal...
oh no i missed it. i bet they'll do a rerun.

We lost power last night.... right in the middle of this... but they repeat things all the time, so I will look for it and tape it again.
I missed it, but it's on again on July 22, 8pm ET/PT. I'm going to try to see it then. THanks for the heads up.
I thought about watching it, but then it felt too much like work.

I mentally pondered about your post on global warming yesterday. I went to check out your links today. We don't have cable either, but I wish I had the opportunity to watch the discovery channel viewing.
I checked out link to find out where this movie is playing near me. It is humbling to hear, "this is the consquence of our actions". I will be visiting my theatre soon.
