Breakfast & Beach
Here's our first meal at the beach house. Everybody's favorite....Daddy's pancakes. We found this nice electric skillet in the bottom drawer. Perfect! This is a big advantage for us to rent a house instead of a hotel...cooking at "home". The house was actually less expensive than a hotel!
Delicious! (insert mastication sounds)
There's our car.....ON THE BEACH! Look out the back window -- it's right there. For a long stretch, you can drive on the beach. You should have 4 wheel drive, but we saw some who didn't. At first, it didn't seem right -- but we couldn't think of a reason why we shouldn't partake. It was so convenient for our kids to be able to play, get wet & sandy, and then just clean-up on the tailgate and leave. No long, soggy, walk back.
The beginning of a great sand castle.
Peace-Out, Mr. Pink Bucket Man!
We found bunches of sand dollars and sea shells. And, we were the only people around for quite a distance in either direction! Just our family, sea, sand, & sun. It was awesome.

Seaside is such a great little town... I love the photos. Family pix are great when they're your own but even an outsider like me can see the love between all of you. Really nice.
Awesome beachhouse, even if there is a modest kitchen... candlelit bath's, now that sounds like a real treat. That's what I'm doing when I get home from campus town.
You never mentioned who the famous cook was!
